Bespoke Aluminium Installation at Hotel Indigo, Gloucester

MBER Welding & Fabrication recently completed a bespoke metalwork project at Hotel Indigo within The Forum development in Gloucester.

Working closely with the client and main contractor, the project included the design, fabrication, delivery, and installation of several custom features across the venue.

Project Scope

Our work included the following;

60 metres of bespoke aluminium façade profiles

DDA-compliant clothes racks

Bespoke aluminium window trim panels

Custom stainless steel mounting boxes for bar fonts

The beer fonts were manufactured to the client’s specification and mounted on bespoke stainless steel boxes, designed to raise them to the correct height and position them away from the bar top.

Installation

Installation was completed in multiple phases over a two-month period, working alongside other trades as the venue approached handover. Meeting project deadlines was challenging at times, but careful coordination ensured everything was completed successfully.

There were even a few light-hearted moments along the way, including the installation of the beer fonts, where the team may have accidentally ended up covered in beer during installation.

The Result

The finished installation delivers a clean, modern aesthetic that complements the design of Hotel Indigo. We thoroughly enjoyed working on this project, and most importantly, the client is delighted with the final result.
